- ──────────────────────────╢ ArcMaster for Windows ╟───────────────────────
-
- Version 1.1 bugs/problem fixes:
-
- - Attempting to delete a hidden, read-only, or system file resulted
- in a Windows general protection fault. Fixed.
-
- - There was _still_ (!) a problem with typing in the destination directory
- in the tagged file dialog. Fixed.
-
- - Not all available drive letters would appear on the tree in some systems.
- Fixed.
-
- - When converting from one archive type to another, Windows could not
- ocate the archive EXE files unless they existed in the DOS path.
- Fixed.
-
- Version 1.2 improvements/enhancements:
-
- - Ability to drag & drop an ARC, ARJ, LHA, or ZIP file from the Windows
- File Manager into AMW for viewing its contents.
-
- - If a view/edit file command is issued and the target file is a Microsoft
- .WRI file, AMW will call WRITE.EXE to do the viewing/editing.
-
- - Added capability to directly edit the AMW.INI file with the user-defined
- editor.
-
- - Addition of an "Icon Action" window in which you can:
-
- - Drag & drop files from the File Manager.
-
- - Drag & drop files from either local AMW file list window.
-
- - Drop files from the AMW global tag list.
-
- - Insert program files from the AMW.INI [prog] list.
-
- - Launch programs, view files, or add files to an existing
- archive.
-
- - Files will appear as Icons that are specific to the type
- file being dropped. You may then click or double-click on
- an icon to perform the desired action.
-
- - This window can be moved, sized, cleared, hidden, or restored
- at any time.
-
- - When running in the Standard mode, AMW will automatically call
- the archive program PIF files with a normal window attribute
- in lieu of the minimized attribute because in the standard mode,
- Windows will not start a program if it is iconic.
